About the Book

Take a book tour of Tasty Bible Stories and look at the sample page. You'll see that it's a perfect fun family book. Tasty Bible Stories retells 14 known Bible stories in a humorous way, getting everyone giggling. Since each of these stories has a food connection and each story has matching recipes, the book also provides you with the ideal indoor family activity – cooking together.

Beyond this, how about trying out these additional fun activities.

Turn a Story Into a Play

Before going to the kitchen read the story of your choice together with your children. Turn it into a play by giving each one a role and you playing the narrator. It's fun to watch how kids interpret different characters.

Turn Sunday/Vacation Day Into a Bible Meal Day

  1. Start your day with the Biblical Breakfast menu on page 18.
  2. Time for lunch. Try these two salads: Tabouleh and Fatoosh Bread Salad. You'll find the Tabouleh recipe on page 27 and the Egyptian Fatoosh Bread Salad recipe on page 31.
  3. A hearty dinner calls for a hearty stew, just like the one Jacob made for Esau. You'll find Jacob's Lentil Stew recipe on page 23.

Hearty Appetite!
